In general, prices for basic necessities such as food, clothing, public transport, basic education and utilities in Singapore are quite moderate. Public transport and taxis are very affordable as well. On the other hand, housing, private schooling and maintaining an automobile can be costly. If you are an expatriate whose compensation package includes benefits such as transportation or car allowances, housing, childcare, payment of school fees, entertainment allowances and other work-related benefits, these costs would be less of a concern to you and you will find that life in Singapore can be quite comfortable. ဒီလို CPF ရွိလို႔လဲ ေဆးရံုတက္ ေရတိမ္ျဖစ္လို႔မ်က္စိခြဲဖို႔ စေပၚေငြေတြႏွင့္ကုန္က်ေငြေတြကို $ ၃ေထာင္ (PR)ႏႈံးႏွင့္ပါ၊ ႏိုင္ငံျခားသားဆိုရင္ ေငြသားသက္သက္ ($ ၆ေထာင္-ကေန၁ေသာင္း ေလာက္လိုပါလိမ့္မယ္) ေငြကို အေရးေပၚ ရွာစရာမလိုေတာ့ပါဘဲ၊ NTUC Income insurance ကလဲ ဒီကုန္က်ေငြကို ျပန္ေပးလို႔ေပါ့ကြာ! ဒါေပမဲ့ ခြင့္တလေလာက္ယူလိုက္ရလို႔ ဒီႏွစ္ခြင့္ေတြ ကုန္သြားၿပီ ေလ...အဲ!ဒီႏွစ္ထဲ ဇူလုိင္လမွာ တရုတ္ၿပည္ႀကီးက အေမဖက္ကအဖြား အသက္ ၈၀ေက်ာ္ကို အသက္ရွိတုန္း မေတြရတာၾကာၿပီျဖစ္တဲ့ ႏိုင္ငံျခားကေမာင္ႏွမေတြႏွင့္လဲဆံုရင္းႏွင့္သြားေတြ႕မလို႔ စီစဥ္ထားတာ မသြားႏိုင္ေတာ့ဘူးေလ!

စကၤာပူက လၽွ်ပ္စစ္မီတာခေစ်းေတြ ၂၀၁၃ခုႏွစ္ ဧၿပီလစၿပီး$ ၂၆.၇၀/kwh ကိုတက္ေတာ့မွာျဖစ္တယ္၊
အရင္လေတြတုန္းက $ ၂၁.၀၄/kwhဘဲရွိပါတယ္၊ ဒါေတာင္ ၅ေယာက္ရွယ္တာ တလ $ ၆၀(၃၀၀-၅၀၀kwh) ေတာင္ေလာက္ပံုမွန္ေပးေနရၿပီး ဒါေတာင္မ်ားေနၿပီေလ၊ ဘယ္လိုလုပ္ၿပီး ဒီလမတ္လမွာ ၈၀၀kwh ေက်ာ္သြားလဲမသိဘူး၊ တပတ္ဘဲအိမ္မွာေနတာကို ရွယ္၅ေယာက္ $ ၁၀၀ေလာက္ထိ သြား တယ္ေလ ေပးလိုက္ရပါတယ္၊ ေနာက္လေတြ ဘယ္လိုေနလဲမသိေသးဘူး.....

Rates
> The electricity
tariff for households is 26.70 cents per kWh (with effect from 1 Apr 13 to
30 Jun 13) 
> The gas tariff for
households is 21.04 cents per kWh (with effect from 1 Feb 13 to 30
Apr 13)
> The water tariff for households is $1.17 per cubic metre (below 40m3) and $1.40 per cubic metre (above
40m3)
Electricity tariffs are regulated by the Energy Market Authority
(EMA) and revised quarterly to reflect the actual cost of electricity.
SP Services buys electricity on behalf of customers and pays the
gencos, transmission licensee and other market players based on the rates of the
various cost components as approved by EMA. There are four main cost components
in the electricity tariff. They are:-
ဒါကဘယ္ေနရာေတြမွာ မီတာပိုကုန္သလဲတြက္ခ်က္ၿပီးဆင္ျခင္လို႔ရေအာင္လို႔ပါဘဲ.... ပါ၀ါ watts အားမ်ားတဲ့ ေန႔တိုင္းမသံုးမျဖစ္ညဖက္မွာဘဲသံုးရမဲ့ aircon ေတြ၊ waterheaterေတြ၊ လွ်ပ္စစ္မီးပူထိုးတာေတြ၊ Oven, ေရေႏြးအိုးတည္တာေတြကို မီတာအစားဆံုးဆိုတာကို ေတြ႔ရပါတယ္၊ အဓိက Aircon သံုးတာကို သတိထားႏိုင္မွေတာ္ပါလိမ့္မယ္....ေန႔ဖက္သံုးမိရင္ bill လာေတာ့မွာ စကားမ်ားက်ပါလိမ့္မယ္၊ ဟဲဟဲ..ပူလြန္းလို႔မေနႏိုင္ရင္ ေရေအးေအးေလးေတြခဏခဏခ်ိုုဳးလို႔ရပါတယ္ေနာ္....
